This Years' Gingerbread House

While I was off on a rehearsal the other day my wife and the kids finished this years Gingerbread House(s). It’s as awesome as always.

This Year's Gingerbread Village

I almost forgot to put the picture’s up on here but Tiina and the kids’ have built this year’s gingerbread house, or more of a village actually. It is as great as always. As usual, there is some sugar involved and it will come “down” in the beginning of January.

Gingerbread Castle

My wife has finished this year’s gingerbread house, or castle in fact. My idea of simply wrapping the dough about, say a ready-built Lego house and bake that in the oven, was rejected (my wife naturally much wiser than I am) but it may have inspired curved templates. Now we just have to wait a while before we can eat it.

It’s still a work in progress…

My wife started to built this year’s gingerbread house. It’s still under construction but it is going to be nice again
