Rocky Shore on Senja
I was supposed to prepare some images needed for work today, when I realized that my Lightroom install mysteriously still was activated (not that I’m complaining) and I found this image from a trip two years’ ago. Taken on the island of Senja/Norway, under less than optimal light is still is a great place to be, and a nice memory from this road trip with my kids. And yes, still got my work-related images done.
From 10 to 30mm - Screenshot
A screenshot from my blog in 2009. While moving my site I had the idea to browse through my long dismissed photoblog From 10 to 300mm on Archive.org and ended up importing what I could recover. I’m still adding posts and was able to grab one screenshot of it’s looks in February 2009.
Morning Panorama
I’m quite impressed with the panorama function of the Nokia 8 camera. It did handle the situation very well and much better than my previous phones.
The Road to Narvik
Fast as always I finally came around to process some of the images from last year. Took this one on the road to Narvik.
Cape North
Cape North is even foggier and stormier than last time. One day we might actually see something.
At the Toy Store
We visited a toy store and obviously everyone had some fun there. I like the cartoonish images one can create with Prisma. It does seem to work best with matte coloured motifs.
So, I went to take pictures
I un-dusted the camera and took it for a quick walk. For the first time in years (the last time I believe was this one) I actually went out to take some pictures. I had some ideas what to photography and went out of habit to a familiar place. As usual the light, which was beautiful the whole day through, changed to the worse just in time for sunset. But then again also the sea was obviously still frozen which made long exposures that I planned pretty much useless.
